3.12 Pittsburgh BIG PAPAS - TE Jordan Reed

In the real world: Reed, a converted quarterback, was drafted by the Washington Redskins out of Florida in Round 3. Consider this: Fred Davis, the Redskins' current starting tight end, is coming off a season-ending Achilles' injury, and the deal he signed with the 'Skins is a one year deal where, if he proves he's healthy, he can leave and get a bigger paycheck elsewhere next year (Jets?). And his departure presumably could open the door for Reed to become a starting TE.
In the TUFF world: Andy Lothschutz and Tony Lindeman really turned this team around last year by getting a new QB (Andrew Luck) and restoring the WR corps. They retooled the starting backfield with Chris Johnson and Darren McFadden. In this draft, they added depth to that backfield while also accumulating a few future draft picks. But there was one weakness that remained on this team, and that was tight end. Martellus Bennett and Scott Chandler are question marks, so they might as well take a stab at an answer with Reed, a solid value considering his pre-draft grades, where he went in the NFL Draft, and his potential job situation.
