3.07 Denver Devils - QB Tyler Wilson

In the real world: In 2011, Wilson successfully replaced Ryan Mallett as the Razorbacks' QB, throwing for 3,422 yards and 22 TD's with only 6 INT, which is even more impressive when you take into account that he did it while facing many of the best defenses in college football. In 2012, his numbers weren't quite as good, but you can chalk that up to the coaching of John L. Smith (the idiot who referred to his program as "Alabama"), and the turmoil at the end of the Bobby Petrino era, not to mention that all of his top receivers in 2011 left for the NFL last year. Oakland took Wilson early in Round 4 and he figures to compete against Matt Flynn for the Raiders' starting QB gig.
In the TUFF world: Denver also had Flynn and acquired this pick so they could handcuff Wilson to Flynn. This gives them excellent depth at QB, as they now have the Raiders QBs in addition to Peyton Manning and the 49ers QBs (Kaepernick, Colt McCoy). And that means there's at least one TUFF team with no backup for their starting QB. Something's going to give sooner or later...
